Personalised Hen Hunts
Our Personalised Hen Hunts are a perfect way for Hen Parties to get to know each other before the big night and to have some fun along the way.
Your group will be split into teams and sent out to explore the town or city of your choice, solve location clues and mix with the locals as they take on the photo challenges.
The Hen Hunt is available in every town and city in Ireland and now also in most towns and cities across the UK.
So how does it work?
You send us some photographs and information about the Hen and we put together a personalised Hen Hunt pack incorporating the photographs and information. We then send you everything you need to run the event yourself.
- Instructions for the event organiser
- ‘Rules’ for the teams, which must be obeyed!
- Score Sheet (for the Hen Hunt and not to be confused with any other type of scoring!)
- Answer Booklet (in a sealed envelope, so the organiser can also participate)
- Hen Hunt Booklets and pens for each team
- Backpack for the organiser to carry the booklets
- Box of chocolates (which can be used as a prize or eaten by the organiser beforehand)
What kind of information and photographs do you need?
Basically anything you think you might get away with! We don’t want to limit you on the information and photographs that you supply, but by the same token we don’t want you to be under too much pressure either. A little will go a long way.
For the information you could think along these lines:
- Her celebrity crush
- Worst / favourite job
- Favourite TV program / film
- Favourite music / band
- Proudest moment
- Embarrassing moment
- Bad / annoying habit
- Hobby / pastime
- Favourite sport / team
We have found that sisters tend not to hold back when sharing stories (flattering or otherwise) about the bride to be. I can’t imagine why?! But if you’re one of her best friends and are keen to stay that way, you’ll know what you can get away with!
We also need the Hen’s full name, the date and town of your choice for the Hen Hunt. In addition, please provide a postal address when sending your information. The Hen Hunt parcel will be sent by registered post to the given address.
- Childhood / baby photographs
- Teenage years (you know when they looked really cool?!)
- Holiday snaps (sunburnt and/or hungover perhaps)
- Bad hair day
- Action photo (on a bike, skydiving, skiing or doing body shots, we’re not here to judge)
- A selfie that she thought was worth posting
In the interest of fairness however, we also like to have you include a flattering photo too.
Please use good quality pics that are in focus and not a photograph of a photograph. Ideally email about 10 or 12 of them to us. We may only use 4 or 5 however, depending on what’s suitable or appropriate.
What is in the Hen Hunt?
There are five sections to our unique personalised Hen Hunts.
- Location Clues
- Trivia (incorporates info supplied on the Hen)
- Photo Challenge
- Scavenger hunt
- Puzzles & Riddles
How long does it take?
The Hen Hunts are designed to run for about 2 hours in total. Allow about an hour and a half for the Hen Hunt itself and then another half hour for marking the teams and announcing the winning team (to cries of ‘FIX’). For the event organiser, remember, your decision is final. A nice, quiet bunch of respectable young ladies may well turn into a bunch of charged up, competitive animals with a need to win!
So what do we need on the day?
We send you everything you need to run the event yourself. The instructions are straightforward and the marking system is kept as simple as possible. You just need to decide on a starting location and final destination. This is usually a pub, restaurant or hotel. Beyond that, ensure each team has a digital camera or smartphone (for the Photo Challenges) and a sense of humour!
How much does it cost?
The standard cost for a group of up to 25 people is €250 all inclusive.
The cost rises slightly for larger groups simply because more team booklets are required.
Payment is made via PayPal. It’s safe, secure and you’re 100% protected with PayPal. We will invoice you via PayPal only after the pack has been sent to you by registered post. You can then pay by return with a debit or credit card. You don’t even need a PayPal account. No deposit necessary.
